Hip-Hop Dance

Dates Available: July 5-9, July 12-16, July 19-23, July 26-30, August 2-6

Summer Session Dance teaches the free flowing movements of old and new school hip-hop. Come learn to snap dance, crip walk and chicken noodle soup. Throughout the week, the class will also study the foundations of modern, jazz and ballet. Kids of all ages are welcome and no prior experience is necessary.

Staff: Jocelyn Eckhout

Jocelyn Eckhout has worked in the hip-hop dance community for 16 years. Skilled in streetdancing: Breakin, Locking, and House Hip Hop, Jocelyn is a member of the first female all-style crew, Venus Fly Trap and Rocketown's dance coordinator. In addition, she has taught hip-hop history; dance classes; workshops within Fort Wayne public school systems; recently, graduated from Indiana Institute of Techonology for Recreation Management.
