Fashion Design and Runway

June 13-17, June 20-24, June 27-July 1, July 11-15, July 25-29 and August 1-5
Fashion and Design allows teens to express their unique fashion style while providing a platform to communicate their creativity. The class studies current fashion trends and allows youth to design their own altered couture fashion style. Rocketown’s Fashion Design is intended to be both a creative outlet and life skills course. At the end of the week students will display their work during a fashion show that they are the star of!
Staff: Ashley Caggiano
Ashley Caggiano, who holds a bachelor’s in fine arts concentrating in fabric surface design, has owned her own clothing line in the past. She will serve her fourth summer as the class instructor. Ashley has also taught fashion and fine arts at her alma mater Clarion University of Pennsylvania and currently works at Rocketown as the Assistant Programmer and Arts Coordinator. She is currently pursuing her Masters of Education at Strayer University.
